Academic Scholarships:
Every year NWFPA awards one scholarship in the amount of $500.? To be eligible the candidate must have a 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in a legal assistant program at either PJC or UWF.? The deadline to submit an application is July 15, 2000.
CLA and CLAS Scholarships:
NWFPA also offers a scholarship to take the NALA CLA or CLA Specialty exam. ? To be eligible one must be an active member of NWFPA.? The recipient has one year from receipt of the scholarship to take the exam.? For more information on the NALA CLA exam, contact the National Association of Legal Assistants. ? The deadline to submit the applications is? July 15, 2000.
